中文摘要: 采用水热法合成片层状二硫化钼(MoS2),不添加粘结剂,通过简单真空抽滤将MoS2包覆在聚丙烯微孔隔膜(Celgard)上,提高锂硫电池的性能。采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)、比表面积孔隙度及化学吸附分析仪(BET)对MoS2进行了形貌和物性测试,使用电化学工作站和电池测试系统对电池进行了电化学性能表征,研究了MoS2包覆隔膜对锂硫电池穿梭效应的抑制效果。结果表明:MoS2包覆Celgard隔膜通过吸附多硫化锂和阻挡多硫化锂的穿梭,可以有效地抑制锂硫电池的穿梭效应,在400 mA/g的电流密度下,首圈容量达到1010 mAh/g,循环150圈后容量为432 mAh/g,性能明显优于使用空白商用Celgard隔膜的锂硫电池。
Abstract:A strategy was reported to obtain high capacity with long cycle life by introducing a molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) coating on the separator. MoS2 which was synthesized by a facile, one-pot hydrothermal method was coated on the separator by simple pumping filtration without any binder to inhibit the polysulfide shuttling effect. The morphology and physical property of MoS2 and the separator coated with MoS2 were characterized by SEM、XRD and BET. The electrochemical performances of lithium sulfur batteries(Li?S batteries) were studied by electrochemical workstation and battery test station. In spite of the use of a simple sulfur–carbon black mixture as cathode, the Li?S cell with a MoS2-coated separator offered outstanding performances with an initial capacity of 1010 mAh/g and 432 mAh/g after 150 cycles at 400 mA/g. In the same conditions, the Li?S cell with a Celgard separator offered performances with an initial capacity of 816 mAh/g and 297 mAh/g after 150 cycles at 400 mA/g. The improved results could be owned to the MoS2 coating, which not only reduced the cell resistance but also blocked the diffusion of soluble polysulfides avoiding shuttle effect during cycling. This study demonstrated a viable and low cost approach to address the long-life cycling challenge for Li?S batteries.
